Young Blues travel to Barking FC U19's

Lowestoft Town U19's are on the road for consecutive weeks as they visit Barking FC U19's in the National Youth Alliance division. This will be Lowestoft's fourth game of the season after winning back to back games. Last weeks visit to Dorking Wanderers in the National Cup saw the group progress into the third round, winning 8-3. The goals came from Ben Atkinson (x2), Luca Upton, Samuel Howell, Ashton Blogg, Christian Guymer & Harvey Gooch (x2).
THE OPPONENTS
Barking FC U19's are consistently one of the top sides in the division with a history of developing their young players. Last season the group ended 3rd in a competitive Youth Alliance division, two points off the top. This season their fortunes are similar with a current 4th placed standing after winning twice and losing once in the league. After an opening day defeat to Bishop's Stortford, the group have defeated Chelmsford and Billericay Town. Danger men Nelly Mallek and Victor Umeh will be looking to continue their impressive goal tally as the forward partnership have a combined 8 goal contributions in all competitions.
MATCH INFORMATION
The game will be played at the Barking FC stadium (MAYESBROOK PARK LODGE AVENUE, DAGENHAM RM8 2JR) and is scheduled to kick off at 02:00pm. From the M25 or the M11/A406 get onto the A13 & exit at the Lodge Avenue roundabout. Head straight up Lodge Avenue across two sets of lights over the railway below. Take the left fork at the mini roundabout at The Round House Pub and the ground is 400m up on the left, carpark to the front. If you end up parking outside the Barking Sporthouse just continue for 100m where you will see the Clubhouse. The group have got a break from league action next week as they visit Kirkley & Pakefield in the Suffolk U18 Midweek Cup.
