Today the young blues knew a win was all that was required to hand them a consecutive title and move the clubs second string further up the local football pyramid. Beccles Caxton were the hosts and were brushed aside 6-2 by the dominant youngsters. Not at their fluid best but still showing the quality that's been evident all season long as they clinched the league title.

Reserve Manager, Kris Atkinson:
For us winning a second consecutive league title is a culmination of all the hard work put in by our thriving academy, of which every member of this seasons squad is a graduate.
For such a young group to still be unbeaten in League fixtures since the teams formation at the beginning of the 23/24 season and win back to back league titles is a testament to not only their ability on the pitch but also their strength of character as a group.
Undoubtedly training alongside the first team lads every week helps bring their levels to a very high standard and for 10 of these boys to have been involved in first team squads across the season is something we as a club should be very proud of. Having already scored 115 league goals this season I would encourage all LTFC fans to pop along to our final two league fixtures and see what these lads are capable of as entertainment is usually guaranteed.
