Lowestoft Town are set to embark on a frenetic final few days of action.
The Trawlerboys - with four league games remaining in the next two weeks - kickstart a run of three matches in nine days as they host the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central Division leaders tomorrow (3pm KO).
Andy Reynolds men remain in 20th place in the table as a fifth successive defeat last Saturday means they are now eight points behind 18th placed St Ives Town.
The long trek to Worcestershire last Saturday started badly, as hosts Bromsgrove Sporting took an early fifth minute lead and doubled the advantage with a stunning strike before the interval.
A penalty was converted just after half time, but Blues boss Andy Reynolds was pleased with the response of his players, as they hit back after the interval, going close before and after skipper Travis Cole's 69th minute goal.
After the game Reynolds said: "The lads deserve credit for the second half showing but we have to start with that courage and aggression so the game doesn't get away from us.
"The subs made a good impact today which is pleasing."
Defender Dylan Ruffles suffered a nasty facial injury, and Reynolds said: "It's a nasty one and will require some hospital treatment so we will see what the doctor has to say.
"Positively he is asking for a mask already so it shows his desire to want to be on the pitch as soon as possible, but we will not put him at risk obviously."
Lowestoft host high flying Bedford Town tomorrow (Saturday, April 12) and Reynolds admitted that "we want to give a good account of ourselves against the current league leaders" for what will be the penultimate home game of the season at the Fosters Solicitors Community Stadium.
An away trip to second placed AFC Telford United follows on Good Friday, April 18, before an eagerly awaited all-Suffolk derby follows on Easter Monday, April 21 at home to ninth placed Leiston.
The season ends on Saturday, April 26 away at 12th placed Alvechurch.
