The youngster, who turned nineteen last week signed non-contract based papers earlier in the season to play for Lowestoft Town, after having been released by Norwich City in the summer.
However, since signing papers to play for Lowestoft Town and with him not being under contract; Hodd has continued to pursue trials and after having a trial with League One outfit Fleetwood Town, he has penned a contract with the Cod Army and will feature in Barry Nicholson’s development squad.
Speaking to the Fleetwood Town Club website, Harvey said: “I have been here for a little while now. I joined Fleetwood Town on trial earlier this season and played a game but unfortunately picked up a hamstring injury. I came back about a week and a half ago and have since played another game and the Club have offered me a contract which I am delighted about. I am miles from home but that doesn’t faze me. I was at Norwich City last season and I was there for two and a half years. I play in the centre of midfield and have enjoyed my time here so far and my objective now is to push on and try and break into the first team.”
Everyone at Lowestoft Town Football Club would like to wish Harvey Hodd all the best, in what is a great opportunity for the young and developing midfielder.
