An "exciting" in-season friendly is set to take centre stage this Saturday.
Derby delights will entertain local football followers on a rare blank weekend of action for both Lowestoft Town and Kirkley & Pakefield FC.
With both sides without a league game, officials have arranged an "exciting in-season friendly" at the Fosters Solicitors Community Stadium for this Saturday, November 16.
The friendly will kick off at noon, with gates open from 11am. Admission is £5 for adults, with concessions £3 and juniors £2.
As Lowestoft's scheduled Southern League Premier Central clash at home to Biggleswade Town was postponed due to The Waders progression into the second round of the Isuzu FA Trophy, a Trawlerboys spokesman said: "With both Lowestoft and Kirkley & Pakefield having an open spot in their calendars, this local derby promises to be a thrilling match for fans on both sides."
The friendly game for Andy Reynolds men comes ahead of league and cup action - with three matches in seven days at the end of this month.
Lowestoft are due to play Stamford at home in the Southern League Premier Central Division next Saturday, November 23, before a second round Suffolk Premier Cup tie away at Leiston on Tuesday, November 26.
Another long away trip then completes the month as Lowestoft head to Leicestershire to face Barwell in the league on November 30.
Lowestoft are now 14th in the league table after 15 league games following a 4-0 defeat away at Stourbridge last Saturday.
Dom Lewis rocketed a header home for the hosts in the 25th minute, before Harvey Sayer and Kyle Haylock went close for Lowestoft.
Bradley doubled the lead just before half time, but The Trawlerboys thought they'd reduced the arrears in the second half as Joao Rangel rounded the keeper and converted - but his effort was ruled out for offside.
Stourbridge added two further goals in the 63rd and 84th minutes to seal the win and move up to fourth in the table, as Rangel was denied a consolation late on by keeper Taylor's superb save.
