New signings link up with the blues to help secure Peterborough Sports victory

Town Manager Jamie Godbold has secured the additions of more attacking players as he hopes to build on the positive start made in the Pitching In Southern League campaign.

Connor Parsons arrives on a season long deal having spent most of pre-season with National League clubs on trial. Connor has trained with the blues at times during the pre-season but never featured in a game as he trialled higher up the non-league pyramid. 19 year-old wide player Parsons had is professional contract with Norwich City cancelled by mutual consent before joining Norwich United for competitive games before the COVID pandemic ended last season. On the capture of his new man Godbold said "It's great to welcome Connor to our club. He has shown ambition throughout the Summer to return to the highest possible level and that drive will be much needed for him and us to be as successful as we want to be. I am convinced if he can show the work ethic and ability I have seen so far he will be a fans favourite and if the opportunities present themselves to him, we will do what we always do and help them fulfil their ambitions".

Striker Colin Oppong, arrives on a month long loan from Ipswich Town and started with a MOTM performance on Tuesday evening. Colin recently featured for Ipswich when they visited in a pre-season game and will help bolster the attacking options. Assistant Manager Andy Reynolds spoke about Colin's arrival and debut "We were pleased with what Colin contributed Tuesday and it's important that we now have the ability to rotate nearly all positions to keep people fresh. We were aware of Colin when he was on loan last year at Bury Town so when we knew we needed another forward it made sense to ask the question of Ipswich and we are grateful for their support getting this done. It's now up to us and Colin to try and ensure this a successful loan for all involved".

Everyone at Lowestoft would like to wish both players the best of luck.
